The Cardamom Club

Challenges
Originally established in 2011 as Funky Brownz & Cardamom, the venue had become a well-known part of the Stanmore hospitality scene, building a loyal following around its Indian food, cocktails, music and social atmosphere. The challenge was that the brand no longer reflected the experience the owners wanted to deliver. Moving away from the established Funky Brownz name was a significant decision. Rather than simply refreshing the existing identity, the owner wanted to create a more contemporary brand with a stronger personality and a name that could take the business forward. Our challenge was to modernise the brand without losing the recognition, character and loyal customer base that had been built over the years.
Solution
Working closely with the owner, we repositioned Funky Brownz as The Cardamom Club, creating a new identity designed to reflect the evolution of the venue while retaining the energy and personality that made the original business successful. We developed the new branding and translated it across the entire customer journey, creating menus, brand assets and marketing collateral that established a more consistent and recognisable visual language. The website was also redesigned and developed to bring the new positioning online, showcasing the restaurant's authentic Indian food, cocktails, desserts and experiences such as High Chai, while making it easier for guests to explore menus and book a table. The result was more than a new logo or name. It was the transformation of an established local institution into a stronger, more relevant hospitality brand, giving The Cardamom Club a platform for its next chapter.
