Moxy Piccadilly Circus is a vibrant, stylish hotel perfectly positioned between Soho, Leicester Square, and the bright buzz of London’s West End. With compact yet cleverly designed rooms, ultra-comfortable beds, fast WiFi, and an energetic social atmosphere, Moxy invites guests not just to stay in the neighbourhood — but to become part of it. From the moment guests check in at Bar Moxy and receive their welcome cocktail, they step into a world built around spontaneity, connection, and play.At the heart of the hotel sits House of Helios, a 24/7 bar that acts as the property’s social nucleus. It is a multifunctional space where guests check in, work, unwind, and enjoy cocktails around the clock. With such a dynamic environment, the bar required menus and signage that were modern, expressive, and aligned with the playful Moxy brand — all while offering clarity and usability in a fast-moving space. The challenge was to create a cohesive suite of internal materials that matched the hotel’s distinctive personality and elevated the overall guest experience.
Solution
We immersed ourselves in the Moxy brand world — bold, youthful, energetic — and crafted a full set of bar menus and internal signage for House of Helios that seamlessly blended style with function. The bar menu became the anchor for the visual direction, striking a balance between expressive design and accessible readability. Every element, from typography to layout to colour accents, was intentionally chosen to reflect the hotel’s playful spirit while still guiding guests intuitively through the offer.Building on the momentum of the menu design, we extended the visual language across additional internal collateral, including directional signage, branded messaging, and guest-facing materials used throughout the bar and social areas. The result was a cohesive and energising design system that not only supported operations but also amplified the atmosphere of House of Helios — helping guests feel instantly welcomed, informed, and inspired to ‘Play On’.
