Challenges
Kadiris is one of London's longest-established Indian restaurants, with a heritage spanning more than 40 years and a reputation for serving some of the finest biryani in the UK. The challenge was to refresh a well-loved brand without losing the authenticity, trust and recognition it had built over decades. The existing identity no longer reflected the quality of the food, the depth of its heritage or the ambition for the future. The brand needed to appeal to a new generation of diners while remaining instantly recognisable to loyal customers. It also needed a visual identity that celebrated its unique story, rooted in the Kokni community of Kenya and influenced by both Indian and East African culture.
Solution
We began by redefining the brand strategy and positioning, uncovering the stories and values that had made Kadiris successful for more than four decades. Drawing inspiration from the brand's Kokni heritage and East African roots, we created a creative and authentic identity that celebrated its history while giving the business a distinctive presence for the future. Every element was carefully considered to ensure the brand felt genuine, memorable and rich in character. The new identity was rolled out across every major customer touchpoint, including packaging, menus, brand activation and a completely redesigned website. Together, these elements created a consistent brand experience that better reflected the quality of the food, strengthened customer perception and positioned Kadiris for its next chapter of growth.
