Challenges
1 Leicester Square Rooftop Bar & Restaurant transports guests into the glamour and sophistication of the 1920s and ’30s — an era defined by Art Deco elegance, bold geometric patterns, and luxurious details. Set high above London’s iconic entertainment district, the venue offers skyline dining, handcrafted cocktails at sunset, and a refined atmosphere that blends modern indulgence with vintage charm. Whether guests are celebrating, unwinding, or simply taking in panoramic views of the city, the experience is designed to feel timeless, opulent, and unforgettable.As the concept prepared to open in Piccadilly, the team needed a cohesive brand expression that would reflect the Art Deco inspiration and elevate the guest journey from the moment they encountered the brand. While the foundations of the identity were in place, they required a creative partner to activate it across menus, marketing materials, digital content, and outdoor advertising — ensuring every touchpoint matched the sophistication of the interiors and the 1LSQ vision.
Solution
We began by immersing ourselves in the venue’s aesthetic — the symmetry, metallic accents, rich tones, and geometric details characteristic of Art Deco design. This informed the creation of a beautifully crafted menu that became the cornerstone of the brand’s visual direction. Once the tone was established, we expanded the design language across all guest-facing materials, ensuring consistency and elegance at every step.From posters and outdoor banners to digital assets, newsletters, and social media creative, we activated the brand through a refined visual system that enhanced the 1LSQ story. The result was a cohesive suite of marketing and operational collateral that seamlessly aligned with the interiors and elevated the overall guest experience. Every design choice worked together to transport visitors into the glamour of the early 20th century — making the brand feel both iconic and contemporary.
